GST yaani Goods and Services Tax wo tax hai jo hum sab daily life me dete hain – chahe grocery kharidte ho, mobile bill bhare ya restaurant me khana khayein. Ab September 2025 me sarkar ne ek Next-Gen GST Reform announce kiya hai, jo aam aadmi ke liye faydemand hoga. Naye GST slabs se tax kam hoga aur system bhi simple ban jayega – consumers aur businesses dono ke liye.

Current GST Slabs (September 2025 se pehle):

0% (Exempt) – Daily zarurat ki cheezein jaise doodh, bread, fresh fruits & veggies.
5% GST – Packaged food items.
12% GST – Processed food, butter, ghee, dry fruits, frozen meat etc.
18% GST – Restaurant, telecom, banking, cosmetics, toiletries, toothpaste, hair oil, capital goods.
28% GST – Electronics (TV, fridge), chhoti cars/bikes, cement, paints, luxury products & tobacco.

New GST Slabs (22 September 2025 se):

0% GST – Daily essentials ke saath ab health & life insurance, notebooks, exercise books, maps & charts bhi free ho gaye.
✔ 5% GST – Packaged food, medicines, footwear, small household items.
✔ 18% GST – Restaurant services, telecom, financial services, electronics (TV, washing machine, laptops), motorcycles <350cc aur cars <1200cc.
✔ 40% GST (New Slab) – Luxury cars, premium bikes, tobacco aur sin goods.

Daily use cheezein sasti, luxury items mehngi.
Online GST return filing ab aur easy.
12% aur 28% ke slabs khatam ho gaye, sab 5% aur 18% me shift.
